Federal List of Extremist Materials
Federal List of Extremist Materials ((ロシア語:Федеральный список экстремистских материалов)) is a list of works that were banned in Russia, primarily based on the Russian Internet Restriction Bill. It is compiled by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation since July 14, 2007, and contained 1,058 items . The list includes Internet publications and websites that criticize Russian authorities, such as news website grani.ru〔(We are blocked. What can you do? ) by (grani.ru )〕 or an open letter by Voice of Beslan,〔(Open letter (Russian) ) by mothers of victims of Beslan school hostage crisis〕 some religious texts by Muslim theologians, Jehovah's Witnesses publications, racist texts and books such as ''Mein Kampf'' and ''Zaveshchanie russkogo fashista'', movies such as ''The Eternal Jew'', songs, slogans ("Russia for Russians!", "Orthodoxy or death!"), video files, brochures and websites〔(2011 Report on International Religious Freedom ) by US Department of State〕
